The Process
Lets take a moment and look at a small example of our wedding process once you give us the green light.
As you can see there is a lot to consider when talking about wedding photographs, and we are here to make it as effortless and as easy as possible. Please contact us with any questions at Jeremy@dancingpancakes.com.
- We start the process with a face to face consult to discuss exactly how you want your wedding day to go, and go over any paper work that needs completed at that time.
- We give you and your fiancée a wedding day photography checklist which contains a lot of aspects of a typical wedding. You and your fiancée should sit down, fill it out and make sure to include any special events or ceremonies that you will be having on your wedding day, and then return the list to us. Having this list gives us a better idea of the photos you definitely want, and also the photos you don't want us to get, as well as lets us plan for anything special you may have for that day. From there we coordinate with your wedding planner or you about the timeline for the photos throughout the day. Getting this piece nailed down helps your and our day go a lot smoother.
- We mail you out a welcome packet which details everything we have discussed down to the last moments of your wedding day, and the delivery of your photos.
- During the time between the initial hire and your wedding day we will have an open line of communication to discuss anything you wish to add, or any changes that may have came up concerning the wedding schedule.
- We attend your dress rehearsal to get a feel for how the ceremony will go, and to scout for the best locations to photograph from, including locations for posed shots after the ceremony. We will discuss any necessary items at this meeting.
- We arrive at our arranged time and begin photographing all the small details, such as the cake, table arrangements, rings, bouquet, and any other items which we have discussed that need to be shot before people arrive.
- Then we begin our normal routine of photographing the bride getting dressed, and then the groom and his grooms men.
- Next is normally the wedding ceremony, posed group shots, reception, first dance, introduction, exit, and any other things we may have discussed.
As you can see there is a lot to consider when talking about wedding photographs, and we are here to make it as effortless and as easy as possible. Please contact us with any questions at Jeremy@dancingpancakes.com.
